Climate and safety
Climate change increases the frequency of droughts, violent storms, strong winds, flooding and open-area fires.
Saving water
- repair leaking taps and flushes
- collect rainwater for watering plants
- water the garden in the morning or evening
- choose a shower instead of a long bath
- run the washing machine and dishwasher only with a full load
Reduce fire risk
Do not burn grass, do not light fires in prohibited places and do not throw cigarette ends outdoors.
Less energy, fewer emissions
- turn off lights and devices you are not using
- use energy-saving light sources
- limit standby mode on electronic devices
- use natural daylight whenever possible
- heat and ventilate rooms sensibly
Waste and responsible shopping
Sorting waste, limiting disposable packaging and making conscious purchases reduce the amount of rubbish and the use of raw materials. These simple actions have real importance when practised by the whole community.
Shared responsibility
Climate protection is not a one-time action but a daily choice. Every resident can reduce risks, care for the surroundings and react when seeing a situation dangerous to people, animals or the environment.
